Valley Student Conference is a gathering of students and a partnership of student pastors all over the Roanoke Valley for the spread of the Gospel.
We believe that God is searching for a generation of students that take their eyes off themselves and focus solely on God. We believe He is looking for a generation that is pure and holy who will praise God not just with songs, but with their lives. We believe that God is searching for a generation of students who will not lose their respect and reverence of Him, and most importantly, a generation that is willing to be broken.
Our prayer and hope is that God would continue to raise up a generation of students to live out their faith for the glory His name. We are calling for students to come together and encounter the fullness of Christ - to stare into the presence of God and allow their hearts to be set on fire!
WHAT IS VALLEY STUDENT CONFERENCE AND WHO CAN ATTEND?
Valley Conference is a regional Disciple Now event hosted at First Baptist Church in Roanoke. Each church will register their own youth group and work out host homes for their own students throughout the weekend.
The conference will consist of times of worship, training, and church community groups. Small group questions will be given to all leaders to help navigate conversations with students in host homes.
Valley Student Conference is a gathering for middle school and high school students. Adult ministry leaders/volunteers are encouraged to attend with the students they lead.

ARE MEALS PROVIDED DURING THE CONFERENCE?
Lunch on Saturday will be provided. Due to a wide range of food allergies and dietary restrictions, we are unable to accommodate special requests regarding this meal.
ARE CAMERAS OR VIDEOGRAPHY ALLOWED AT THE CONFERENCE?
We do not allow professional cameras (DSLR or with detachable lens), flash photography, or video or audio recordings during Main Sessions, as we desire that everyone be free from distraction to experience the conference.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE CONFERENCE?
$30 through January 31
$45 on or after February 1
WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION COST COVER?
Your registration includes the cost of participating in the conference, materials needed for the gathering, t-shirts, and lunch on Saturday.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY REGISTRATION?
You may pay for your registrations online with a credit or debit card. Please note that the charge will appear on your statement as "First Baptist Church." Once you complete the registration form, click register and you will be automatically directed to submit your payment via PayPal. If you choose to pay by check, your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received. Checks should be made payable to First Baptist Church and sent to PO Box 2799, Roanoke, VA 24001. Checks must be received within 10 days of your completed online registration in order to avoid cancellation of your registration.
CAN ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS BE ADDED TO AN EXISTING GROUP?
Yes, you may purchase additional tickets at any time by completing the online registration form.
CAN REGISTRATIONS BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED?
We are unable to offer refunds.

WHAT IF OUR GROUP WANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A SERVICE PROJECT ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON?
