Valley Student Conference is a movement of students and a partnership of student pastors across the Roanoke and New River Valley united for one purpose: the spread of the Gospel.
We believe God is raising up a generation willing to shift their focus from themselves to Him alone—a generation marked by purity, holiness, and authentic worship that goes far beyond just songs. We believe He is searching for students who will walk in reverence, live with surrendered hearts, and be willing to let God break, shape, and transform them for His glory.
Our prayer is that God continues to awaken and strengthen this generation to boldly live out their faith. We’re calling students to come together, encounter the fullness of Christ, and look deeply into the presence of God—allowing their hearts to be set on fire.

WHAT IS VALLEY STUDENT CONFERENCE AND WHO CAN ATTEND?
Valley Conference is a regional youth conference hosted at First Baptist Church in Roanoke. Each church will register their own youth group and work out housing for their own students throughout the weekend. See below for a conference hotel option or feel free to check out other area options!
The conference will consist of times of worship, training, and church community groups. Small group questions will be given to all leaders to help navigate conversations with students during church group times.
Valley Student Conference is a gathering for middle school and high school students. Adult ministry leaders/volunteers are encouraged to attend with the students they lead.
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEKEND?
If you're a local church, feel free to plan an activity for after the conference. Let us know if you need some ideas of local attractions!

ARE MEALS PROVIDED DURING THE CONFERENCE?
Lunch on Saturday will be provided. Due to a wide range of food allergies and dietary restrictions, we are unable to accommodate special requests regarding this meal.
ARE CAMERAS OR VIDEOGRAPHY ALLOWED AT THE CONFERENCE?
We do not allow professional cameras (DSLR or with detachable lens), flash photography, or video or audio recordings during Main Sessions, as we desire that everyone be free from distraction to experience the conference.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE CONFERENCE?
Attendee cost
$45 per attendee (Price increases to $55 per attendee on February 1, 2026)
WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION COST COVER?
Your registration includes the cost of participating in the conference, materials needed for the gathering, t-shirts, and lunch on Saturday. *t-shirts cannot be guaranteed if registered after February 20, 2026.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY REGISTRATION?
You may pay for your registrations online with a credit or debit card. Please note that the charge will appear on your statement as "First Baptist Church." Once you complete the registration form, click register and you will be automatically directed to submit your payment via PayPal. If you choose to pay by check, your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received. Checks should be made payable to First Baptist Church and sent to PO Box 2799, Roanoke, VA 24001. Checks must be received within 10 days of your completed online registration in order to avoid cancellation of your registration.
CAN ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS BE ADDED TO AN EXISTING GROUP?
Yes, you may purchase additional tickets at any time by completing the online registration form.
CAN REGISTRATIONS BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED?
We are unable to offer refunds, however, tickets purchased for Valley Student Conference 2025 are transferrable based on availability.
